Clairton (Pa.) athlete Desimon Green had become pretty familiar with Michigan assistant Tony Gibson after seeing the coach at his school a couple times during the Spring Evaluation Process and talking with him on the phone. Green had no problem, then, inquiring with Gibson about a Michigan offer.

Green runs a 4.67 40-yard dash and his size and athleticism could translate into several positions at the college level.
